Gleeful moments of season deux...

With half the season having come and gone, let us reminisce about the top moments thus far. Or at least MY favorite moments... Some of them are songs, some are characters being brought in, and maybe I'll throw in an entire episode just because I thought it was THAT amazeballs.

In order of episode.

- HELLO UNCLE JESSE!
With the new season came new characters... Among the bunch, they brought in none other than Uncle Jesse himself John Stamos as Mr. Scheuster's archenemy! dun. dun. dun. No but he's just Emma's boyfriend, Karl (now fiance); and has he got some pipes on him!! I vaguely remember him showing off his musical talents in Jesse and the Rippers (yes, another Full House reference) but never like this. His Glee character is funny, caring and charming as ever with immense talent. I do hope to see more of him throughout the season. This also may be caused by the fact that I'm tired of the whole Emma Scheuster drama that has been going on for WAY too long. Moving on...

- Britney/Brittany
There wasn't anything about this episode that I didn't like. The song choices, the outfits-- BRITTANY S. PIERCE AND HER DIALOGUE WAS PRICELESS in this episode. Most of the time, I think the bubbly, "blonde" attitude is annoying, but EVERYTHING they write up for this character is brilliant! She has quickly become my favorite character on the show and I KNOW we'll be seeing great things from her... AND HER DANCING!? Absolutely superb. SO MUCH TALENT.

- Glee FINALLY nails The Beatles
I've always liked other versions of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".. but THIS version blew me away. Kurt sings a beautiful rendition of the song that literally brought me to tears. It was my favorite moment of the Grilled Cheesus episode and I actually thought the other songs were a bit mediocre compared to this one. Glee has only ever done ONE other Beatles song (Hello Goodbye) and that was also one of my favorite songs from the first season... What does this tell us? With themed episodes, they should just do a Beatles episode already. Hint hint.

- Scheuster Shirtless
Need I say more? Like a can of Campbell's Soup... mmm mmm good. Plus-- I really enjoyed The Rocky Horror Glee Show episode.

- Time Warp
I LOVE the Time Warp scene in this Rocky Horror episode. Its a great version of the song, it's fun, catchy and you can dance along to it in your car on a road trip with your seat belt on.. Clearly, this is based on pure fact.

- Darren Criss becomes MY Teenage Dream
Then came the episode where I fell in love with Darren Criss... Clearly, my mind needed to be clouded with more fine men. So Glee brought Darren Criss into my view and what a lovely view it was... Let's just say everything Darren sings sounds better than its original version... Especially Teenage Dream. I love the idea of the Warblers and the fact that Kurt is now in their Glee club. The way he was being bullied in school was unacceptable. My blood boiled for him and I'm glad he has Blaine now to look forward to... And as my friends and I would say during our Twitter Parties-- WOULD YOU PLEASE GET TOGETHER ALREADY?!

- Scheuster kisses Beaste.
I thought this  was the absolute cutest thing I had EVER seen. The back story Coach Beaste gave... The scenario they found themselves in. It showed Mr. Scheuster really cares about her, that their friendship is flourishing and they genuinely trust each other! Scheuster has a lot of problems with his crazy ex-wife and his current Emma issues-- this was a nice break from the usual drama. Just a nice and simple gesture to give Beaste the hope she was looking for.

-The Substitute we all wish we had in OUR High School days
I love Gwyneth Paltrow. Her character in this episode was BEYOND epic. Granted, she wasn't the best teacher in the sense that she was too nice, BUT I feel that I actually might have learned a thing or two from her. EVERY SINGLE SONG IN THIS EPISODE WAS AWESOMESAUCE. The Singing in the Rain, Forget You (BETTER than the original), and FINALLY some Broadway musical numbers! MY FAVORITE! I'd love to see more Theatre music brought into the show. I'm kind of tired of seeing the same poppy, bubbly songs-- and good Lord, I love all the 80's music they've picked but PLEASE we can only take so much! I'd prefer more Broadway in my Glee. This episode NAILED it and is POSSIBLY in my top 3 of the season.

- The Wedding
Let's just say I now want a musical number performed at MY wedding. I thought the wedding episode was absolutely adorable. The music was superb and I enjoyed the characters doing a little bit of growing up *cough cough* FINN. I like that he finally came to accept the new family/living arrangements with Kurt and their parents.

- Hey Soul Sistaaaaa
All this group of guys. Not only are they led by my new main man, but their voices altogether form the most beautiful sounds. They've brought back a song I was already bored with. Hey Soul Sister was my favorite song on the radio for a very long time.. But that's just it, the song was on the radio and when something hits the radio it quickly turns to shit. Most of the music I listen to isn't played on the radio. It gets played too much. This song has been played out for months, but when the Warblers covered it, I fell in love all over again.

- Baby it might be cold inside but its HADES' CLOSET in here
EP available on iTUNES for like $5.. Go get it. His music is amazing.

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT. My thoughts on season 2 of GLEE... so far. The season hasn't technically ended. It's on Christmas break-- much like I am. But I'm sure there are plenty of great Glee moments to come. For one, there's a Valentines Day episode coming in February where Kurt and Blaine are supposed to get closer... OH HAPPY DAY! I'm all for my boy Kurt getting some action... it's about time. I guess its safe to say that my favorite part about this season has been Darren Criss joining the cast. If they have plans on taking him out anytime soon, well, lets put it this way-- I'm prepared to take someone's lights out at FOX if this does happen. I'm just saying.
